ABOUT THE PAINTING
The original oil painting "Perquisition" was created on linen canvas 36"x 46".
This painting contains elements of autobiographical and allegorical imagery.
A series of self portraits along with my dog are placed within the backdrop of Manhattan rooftops.The image is based on the theme perquisition: a thorough investigation for someone or something ( with the aim to create design and order in a world where we have very little controle).
This painting took me over a year to complete.

Giclée (pronounced "zhee-clay") is French meaning "to spurt or spray.” With the advent of giclée, the art of reproducing fine art has become much more precise. Giclées produce the highest apparent resolution available today -- as high as 1,800 dots per inch. The patented printing technology utilizes microscopically fine droplets of ink to form the image. A print can consist of nearly 20 billion ink droplets. This unique patented feature produces a near continuous tone image, smoother gradation between tones, and a more finely differentiated color palette.
