This pencil drawing is entitled Miami Evening, Waiting for the Letter. The imagery was inspired by director William Wyler and cinematographer Tony Gaudio's film The Letter. The film noir thriller starred Bette Davis and Herbert Marshall. Rex plays cat and mouse.
