ABOUT THIS DRAWING
This pencil drawing is entitled BEGINNING OF A LONG NIGHT. The imagery was inspired by director Anotole Litvak and cinematographer Sol Polito’s film Sorry, Wrong Number. The film noir thriller starred Barbara Stanwyck and Burt Lancaster. This rendition stars Rex the Cat and takes place in midtown Manhattan.
